Overview

The University of Nigeria School of Medicine (UNN SoM) is one of the leading medical schools in Nigeria. It was established in 1960 and has graduated over 10,000 medical doctors. The UNN SoM is committed to training highly skilled and compassionate doctors to meet the needs of the Nigerian people. UNN SoM students have the opportunity to gain clinical experience at a variety of hospitals and clinics in Nigeria, including the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu, the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, and the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Zaria.

UNN SoM is accredited by the following organizations: Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, National Universities Commission and Association of Commonwealth Universities.
