The University of Namibia School of Medicine (UNAM SoM) is the only medical school in Namibia. It was established in 2009 and graduated its first Namibian-trained medical doctors in 2016. The UNAM SoM is a leading medical school in Africa and is committed to training highly skilled and compassionate doctors to meet the needs of the Namibian people. he UNAM SoM offers a six-year MBBS program, which is the equivalent of a doctor of medicine degree in other countries.
