The University of Limpopo’s School of Medicine, as one of the esteemed institutions within the Faculty of Health Sciences, brings a pioneering spirit to the medical landscape in democratic South Africa. Accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in 2014, this school offers the coveted Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) undergraduate degree program.

The school extends its offerings to accredited postgraduate studies, enabling specialization in diverse clinical disciplines such as Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, Forensic Pathology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Paediatrics and Child Health, Paediatric Pulmonology, and Public Health Medicine, among others.
