The School of Medicine (SOM) of UHAS was established in 2012 and is located in Ho, Ghana’s Volta Region. The School of Medicine (SOM) offers a 6-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme that is accredited by Ghana’s Medical and Dental Council. The programme is intended to produce medical professionals who are competent, caring, and dedicated to providing quality treatment to Ghanaians and others. School of Medicine at UHAS is accredited by the following organizations: Medical and Dental Council of Ghana, World Health Organization.
It is dedicated to the teaching and training of highly qualified medical professionals whose service and care will be distinguished by their excellence, integrity, and innovation.
