The School of Medicine, part of the College of Allied Health at the University of Cape Coast, was founded in 2008. It holds the distinction of being the sole medical school in Ghana’s Central Region. Within its academic offerings, the school provides a single undergraduate program, namely the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), in addition to a postgraduate program, the Master of Philosophy in Infection and Immunity.
The tuition fees for the MBChB program are relatively affordable, making it a good option for students from all backgrounds. he University of Cape Coast is accredited by the following organizations: Ghana Medical Council, World Health Organization and Association of Medical Schools in Africa.
