Overview

The School of Medicine of the University of Annaba was founded in 1963. It is the oldest medical school in Algeria. The school was initially called the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy. It was renamed the School of Medicine in 2006. The school has a solid academic reputation. It is ranked 1st in Algeria and 1,000th in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The School of Medicine of the University of Annaba offers a wide range of medical-related courses. The Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research accredits the University of Annaba. It is also a member of the World Federation of Medical Schools.
