Orotta School of Medicine and Dental Medicine does offer an MBBS program. The MBBS program is a 6-year program that leads to the Doctor of Medicine degree. The program is taught in English and is accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) in Eritrea. The MBBS program at Orotta School of Medicine and Dental Medicine covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, and clinical medicine.
After graduating from the MBBS program, students are eligible to sit for the National Board of Medical Examinations (NBME) in Eritrea. If they pass the NBME, they will be licensed to practice medicine in Eritrea.
