The Mulungushi University School of Medicine (SOMHS) is a public medical school in Livingstone, Zambia. It was established in 2017 and is the third medical school in Zambia. SOMHS is accredited by the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) and offers a six-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree program. The SOMHS curriculum is designed to give students a strong foundation in the primary and clinical sciences.
Students also have the opportunity to gain clinical experience through rotations at Livingstone Central Hospital and other healthcare facilities in the Livingstone area. The Mulungushi University has received accreditation from the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ).
