The School of Medicine at Kyambogo University is one of the leading medical schools in Uganda. It was established in 2003 and offers a six-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree program. The program is accredited by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council. Kyambogo University is affordable, especially for Ugandan students.
Strong focus on clinical training. Students can gain experience in various clinical settings, including Mulago National Referral Hospital, Nsambya Hospital, and Entebbe Hospital. The school also has several research centres where students can participate in research projects with leading faculty members. UNISE, formerly affiliated with the Department of Special Education within Makerere University.
