The Jean Piaget University of Angola’s School of Medicine was established in 2002. Both Angola’s National Medical Council and Ministry of Education have certified the institution. A MD programme of six years is available at the institution. The school has a strong focus on clinical training. Students have the opportunity to train at the school’s teaching hospitals, as well as at other hospitals and clinics in Angola. The School of Medicine offers a variety of medical-related courses.
Pharmacology, Clinical Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and More. The university has a student body of over 10,000 students. The school is located in Luanda, the capital of Angola, which is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city.
