The Copperbelt University School of Medicine (CBU SM) is the second public medical school in Zambia after the University of Zambia School of Medicine. It was established in 2011 and is located on the CBU campus in Ndola, Copperbelt Province. The CBU SM offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree program. The CBU SM also provides postgraduate programs, including Master of Science degrees in Clinical Medicine, Public Health, and Biomedical Sciences.
The CBU SM is a highly-ranked medical school in Zambia. It is accredited by the Association for Medical Education and Training in Africa (AMETEA). The school has a strong track record of producing high-quality graduates who have gone on to successful careers in medicine and public health.
