Overview

Catholic University of Mozambique (UCM) was founded in 1996. It is one of the leading medical schools in Mozambique, and its graduates are highly sought-after by employers. The School of Medicine Department offers a six-year undergraduate program in medicine. The program is designed to prepare students for a career in medicine, and it covers a wide range of topics. The UCM is one of the leading private universities in Mozambique. It is accredited by the Mozambique Higher Education Council and is a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities.

Over 1,000 students are enrolled in the School of Medicine Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It has over 100 professors and lecturers on its faculty.
