In 1993, CATUC’s School of Medicine was established. It is the first Catholic medical school. The school is accredited by the Cameroon Ministry of Higher Education and the Cameroon Medical Council.
The school offers a 6-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. The program is divided into two phases: a 4-year pre-clinical phase and a 2-year clinical phase. The pre-clinical phase covers the basic sciences, such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology.
CATUC is a growing university with a student body of over 5,000 students. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and engineering. CATUC is also home to a number of research centers and institutes.
