Overview

One of the Middle East’s oldest and most prominent medical institutions is Cairo University’s School of Medicine. The university’s main campus in Giza was established in 1908 and has been here since then. The school offers a 6-year MBBS program that leads to the Doctor of Medicine degree. The program is accredited by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. The faculty of the institution is robust, with many skilled and experienced medical professionals. The professors actively participate in clinical practice, teaching, and research.

Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, Cairo University is ranked 801-1000 in the world and 141-150 in the Arab region.The university has over 200,000 students and 10,000 faculty members.
