Adventist University of Central Africa (AUCA) is a leading medical school in Rwanda. The school offers a six-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program that is accredited by the Rwanda Medical and Dental Council (RMDC). The MBBS program is designed to prepare students for a career in medicine in Rwanda and abroad. The following organizations accredit the School of Medicine at AUCA: Rwanda Medical and Dental Council (RMDC), World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and African Association of Medical Councils (AAMC).
AUCA is committed to social responsibility, and its faculty and students are involved in various community outreach programs. During the clinical phase, students apply the knowledge they have gained in the pre-clinical stage to patient care.
