The School of Medicine at BIUST was established in 2013. It’s located on the university’s main campus in Palapye, Botswana. The school is a public university that is accredited by the Medical Council of Botswana and the World Health Organization. The institution was founded with the intention of giving students from Botswana and other countries access to a top-notch medical education. The institution provides an MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree programme that takes five years.
Chinese language and culture are among the subjects covered in the business management, entrepreneurship, and general education courses offered at the facility. The university placed fifth in Botswana’s 2021 Nature Index thanks to its commitment to scientific research.
