The Libyan International University for Medical is a six-year program that leads to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. The program is accredited by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and the Libyan Medical Council. The school has a strong focus on clinical education, and students have the opportunity to learn from experienced faculty members and to participate in rotations at hospitals and clinics throughout Libya.
The school also offers a number of extracurricular activities for students, including student government, medical societies, and volunteer opportunities. The university has a student body of over 5,000 students. The student body is diverse, with students from over 50 countries. The university has a faculty of over 500 professors and lecturers.
