The ATBU SoM curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the basic and clinical sciences, as well as to prepare them for the realities of practicing medicine in a developing country. ATBU SoM students have the opportunity to gain clinical experience at a variety of hospitals and clinics in Bauchi State, including the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), the Specialist Hospital, Bauchi, and the Ningi General Hospital.
The ATBU SoM is accredited by the following organizations: Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and National Universities Commission (NUC).
